Tyre Diameter: 16, Profile: 80, Width: 175 | Triumph Roadster 2000 1948 to 1949
Triumph's unusual post-war sports car. Produced from 1946 to 1948. Originally fitted with a 550-16 crossply tyre, for which a radial alternative would be 550R16 or 165R16.
This car's reputation is entirely entwined with the TV series Bergerac. Much like Princess Anne and Scimitars, it's probably the only commonly known fact about the car. Good looking, and likely to make people smile though! Originally built with an 1800 Triumph engine, the later Standard 2 Litre gave a lot more power, along with improvements to everything except the gearbox.
