Rolls Royce Camargue
There was a particular Pininfarina style of the 1970s, the angular and brutish coupe. This worked extremely well for the Fiat 130 and Lancia Gamma coupes, but it wasn't so well accepted at the time for the Bentley Camargue. Perhaps it was a step too far for the customer base. As with the Aston Martin Lagonda of the period, a new generation of buyers are much keener to own something unique, with more than a hint of RR enthusiast Gerry Anderson's futuristic style.
Standard tyre fit for the Camargue was intially an HR70HR15, the equivalent of a modern 235/70HR15, which became the standard fitment in 1979 anyway.
