Peugeot 504 Berline & Coupe 1968 to 1983
Now here's a car with multiple personalities!
The Berline saloon, as well as the Estate and pickup versions, were well-engineered vehicles, with good performance and excellent comfort. This fine engineering gave the car a level of toughness, accompanied by soft suspension and well thought out ease of maintenance. Unsurprisingly these features made the car popular in areas of the world with wide open spaces, unmade roads and big distances between service opportunities! The 504 ended up being built in Australasia, Africa and South America, as well as around Europe.
But, despite this rough and tough reputation, the Pininfarina Coupe and Convertible versions turned out as glamourous and chic cruisers, especially in V6 form!
