Originally fitted with a 205VR15 radial tyre, the Mexico was fitted with a lower profile 215/70VR15 towards the end of production.
The Mexico brought the Quattroporte's V8 to Maserati's GT coupe range, replacing the six-cylinder engines that were being outgunned by the opposition. The Mexico is a large 4-seater coupe in a restrained, stylish suit. Possibly a bit too restrained at the time. Fast and pricey!
