The Series III 88 is a more developed, larger and more powerful Land Rover produced from 1971 to 1986. 

The Land Rover Series 3 88 was originally fitted with a 600-16 crossply tyre, with the option of a 700-16. A more modern radial alternative would be 205R16, but the vehicle tends to feel better on the original crossply.
