Tyre Size: 750R16 (Radial), Tyre Diameter: R16 | Land Rover Defender 1983-2016
Land Rover Defender 1983-2016
The iconic off-roader, whether it's a scruffy working vehicle, a restored beach car, or a modified urban warrior. Slowly developed over its lifetime, as engine technology improved and better creature-comforts were expected, its look and character never changed. Still highly valued, in 90, 110 and 130 chassis sizes and a variety of body styles.
A guide to possible tyres for the whole of the Defender's lifetime would be a large book! The range of uses the vehicle has been put to, the variety of wheel sizes available, and the length of time the model was in production and then being modified by owners, means there is a wealth of options.
The basic steel wheels from the factory had standard fitments of 205R16 for the 90, and 750R16 (the modern fitment equivalent would be 235/85R16) for the 110 and 130. If in any doubt, please contact us for advice.
