Lancia Appia 1953 to 1963
The Appia was the replacement for Lancia's wartime small car, the Ardea. Like that car, the Appia had a technically advance specification, a V4 engine and sliding-pillar front suspension. It added more room, and much more modern styling. Initially a bit too much of a leap forward (early cars had reliability and design issues), the Appia developed into a great, small car across several series. It was also made into commercial vehicles, coupes and convertibles by many carrozzieres.
Series 1 and 2 cars had a 560-15 crossply tyre, with the option of a 155-15 (which today would be described as a 155R15 radial tyre).
Series 3 cars were equipped with a 155-15 (which today would be described as a 155R15 radial tyre).
