Fiat 8V
Very much a halo car for post-war Fiat, recalling the glory days of its Grand Prix heritage. A bespoke chassis and V8 engine, sophisticated suspension, clothed as coupe or spider by Fiat's own top designers, as well as Zagato, Ghia and Vignale, and sold to the discerning in tiny numbers (114!). It 'out-Ferraris' Ferrari, and made the point that Fiat could do such things whenever it wanted to.
As a bespoke car, and one that was supplied as either a sophisticated sportscar or hard-as-nails racer, several different wheel and tyre combinations were used. A common road fitment was the metric 165R400 tyre, but with so few chassis made, that isn't saying much.
