Alfa Romeo 33 1983 to 1994
The initial 1.5 engine models had a 13-inch wheel as standard, with a 175/70TR13 tyre. There was the option of a 14-inch wheel with a 185/60HR14 tyre, and this became the standard fitment for all the later 1.7 engined cars.
Designed as a 1980s update to the Alfasud, and named after a famous past model, the 33 was expected to continue Alfa's FWD success. However, the improved room and features weren't enough to persuade people to buy it in great numbers. The styling was rather anodyne, and it wasn't as much fun as an Alfasud.
